Removing
plaque completely from teeth is not easy, even with the improvements
made in the shape and performance of today's toothbrushes, dental floss,
toothpicks and inter-dental brushes. Water picks, which squirt intermittent
sprays of water, can also wash food debris from between teeth. If brushing
after a meal is not possible, one should use a special toothpick for
inter-dental spaces, and then rinse the mouth with water or tea.
